Every home based business owner that is involved in network marketing or direct sales believes deep down in their heart that they have the best opportunity since slice bread. If you dig a little deeper every one thinks they run a successful business as well.
It’s really time for a gut check. The last time I checked in the dictionary, best meant excelling all others. Meaning there can only be one number one. You may be wondering how do you cut through the hype?
How can you really identify what a successful home business opportunity looks like, particularly in the network marketing/ direct sales industry.
The answer that you will receive may shock you. It is also two fold.
Everything actually depends upon YOUR prospect and their needs.
It has nothing to do with you at all. Understand that like attracts like.
Here is why I say this. You can have a great product, great payout, great team, great leaders in the company, great marketing strategies. You may have an awesome presentation, fun atmosphere, and real training. You could actually be a top earner. But if it doesn’t tickle your prospects fancy, then to them it is not a success. They could care less about your company, product or anything else.
Everything depends on your ability to Attract the right prospect.
On the other hand if you have a prospect that is on the same wave length with you then you have a winner.
The saying goes you can never say the wrong thing to the right person. You want to focus your marketing efforts on attracting the right prospect to your home based business. This may take some time but it is worth it.
When you get in your prospects head and know exactly what they want, need, and desire then you have a formula for success. A lot of network marketers and home based business owners don’t think it takes all that.
It actually does.
For example you can not sell meat to a vegetarian no matter how much you spent on advertising. But if you offer food that is right up their alley (tofu, veggie patties, natural smoothies, etc) you have a loyal customer that you can sell to over and over. The best thing about this is that they will tell their friends about your place and now you have more of the right type of prospect/customer.
So to answer the question originally posed, a successful home business opportunity is one that attracts the right prospects that you can sell to repeatedly. This means they join you in your opportunity, utilize the product or service, and repeat what you did.
Your team is growing, they are making money and so are you.
