How you can get people all over the world to buy your knowledge

small business accounting software

I make at least eight videos like the one above a week that I either sell or giveaway to help business owners and their teams get the best out of my low cost alternative to small business accounting software such as Quickbooks or Peachtree or Sage (the video above took me one hour to make). There is a lot of hype about information marketing and there are unscrupulous marketers all over the internet who will try and take your money in exchange for showing you methods that simply won’t work, here is a method that does. I would recommend you take the time to design and create your own product (digital content) as the margin you earn will be higher and you have the added benefit of learning from your customers what you could do to refine your product and maybe sell more.

Creating and delivering video online is now incredibly simple and the significance of its popularity is epitomised by the number of videos available from YouTube and in downloadable podcasts. I love these video distribution platforms as they really have helped me sell and build a reputation for my low cost alternative to conventional small business accounting software such as Quickbooks or Peachtree.

You should always start with a plan of what you are going to say and share with your audience and therefore you need a structured approach which is best done by creating a storyboard. If you are familiar with Microsoft powerpoint or apple keynote then you already have some of the skills you will need to get started making your first online video tutorial or presentation. It is entirely possible to create your storyboard and produce your video and indeed market and sell it to make some money without having to spend any money what so ever.

I have been creating my videos in Podcast, YouTube and downloadable video format for over two years now using a really fantastic tool called Camtasia Studio which is developed by TechSmith a US company, whatever you do watch all of the tutorials before downloading the thirty day fully functional trial. Get your storyboard sorted and ready and make sure you fully understand how you are going to use the Camtasia software (watch the tutorials…yes all of them!!) before you download the trial as you only have use of the software for thirty days.

Now you know what tools you need to create your videos and in the next few days I will be publishing to this blog (owners permitting) another and much more detailed lesson on storyboard creation using how I created and distributed my small business accounting software videos as real life examples of what is possible.
