Every one that starts a network marketing business must prospect for MLM home based business leads that ultimately will become the gold of their business.
The winter of 1848, gold was found at Coloma and the California gold rush quickly began. Many folks sold everything they had in hopes of finding the big strike, yet sadly most found only shattered dreams. For scores of people this is the case in network marketing, with more than 97% investing their money with the hope of hitting it rich or at least living comfortable for the rest of their years.
When the gold rush started all those miners required picks and shovels and numerous supplies to launch their chase for those nuggets of gold. Tiny mining towns began to appear and provided the essential supplies to the miners. Each minor needed a pick and shovel and although they didn’t always find gold they gave their cash to the shopkeepers who provided for them. Many of those shopkeepers also hunted for gold and some even found it. The shopkeepers who prospected for gold did not rely on discovering gold to sustain themselves while they searched for it.
There was not anything immoral about the shopkeepers investing their money in setting up implement stores while they searched for gold at the same time. The demand was there and they delivered a necessary service. Nobody that went hunting for gold would have said that their primary intent was to buy picks and shovels, it was in simple terms just necessary to have them in order to locate the gold.
In network marketing you also do prospecting (for MLM home based business leads) and just like the miners you need to have an MLM version of a pick and shovel. If you do not have any immediate success in your prospecting efforts how will you finance your business in six months? If you are not funded effectively just like the miners of 1948 your efforts will breakdown and with it, any money you put into your mlm up to that point.
When you bring a new consultant into your team it is your responsibility to inform them on what they will need for tools and funding in order for them to be victorious. You will want to educate them how to prospect effectively. Too many people get involved in network marketing and have completely no support or guidance in how to prospect and then they end up quitting. The average length of time that it takes for a new consultant to join and then renounce their network marketing business is approximately 63 days.
Okay, so you want to be a success and you don’t want to go out of business within the national average of 63 days, but you don’t have very much cash to build your network marketing business and you need to have funding. What if you marketed some picks and shovels to some miners until you were able to find enough gold that you could live off your primary mlm income? Or put another way,, what if you were able to support people who are involved in network marketing by providing them with the teaching and tools they need and it helped offset your operating expenses?
