FRANK’S HISTORY
Frank was raised in a very poor family unit, the son of a farmer/railroad worker.  He was 1 of a handful of children that worked the farm while still young while their father was away during the week on the railroad.

During the past 50 years, every so often, someone will walk up to you and ask you a couple of questions. It may be a friend or relative, but more recently, it may be a total stranger. In almost every case, your first thought is; “Oh, boy! Here comes the next pyramid scheme.” In the beginning, that was not the case, because no one had ever heard of this type of business. So, for those who still are not sure, here we go. Multi level Marketing MLM, here are a few success tips. The concept of MLM really started back in the 1950′s with Amway. Someone would invite you to their home and show you some unusual home cleaning products. The products were good, yet expensive, and the whole idea was simple. If you use these products and share them with your friends and relatives, they will buy them and you and everyone above you, in the MLM line, makes money. All the while, Amway is making a fortune because this was their advertising. So, they could afford to pay multiple lines of people a small percentage of the sale. First off all, realize that the legitimate companies that are marketing their products via an MLM are legally structured business models. Every company that directly sells their products/services to the end user is not a scam. Many of the companies trying to get you to spend your money with them may be scams, but the concept is legal and if worked properly, can offer many people an opportunity to make a lot of money. BUT THEY ARE NOT GET RICH SCHEMES! In the beginning and until recently, it was pretty easy to find good solid companies that had chosen this direction to market their products/services. The Internet has become a prime player in these types of businesses, but even now most people do not understand how this business works, so they shut themselves out and anyone trying to present a program to them. It is truly amazing that MLM has evolved to where most people have more credibility with total strangers than their relatives and friends. Some of this comes from the fact that many people who have become believers in MLM have done a good job in making that decision, but have become MLM hoppers! These are people that are still looking for a free lunch. Anytime they see a new concept, a new product, a better compensation plan, they are off! They will drop whatever they have been doing and move on to the next great deal! THIS IS A HUGE MISTAKE! And they continue to contact the same people that did not believe them the first hundred times they came to them, so now to your relatives and friends, you have become their mortal enemies! Every MLM company must sell something. If you get approached by someone telling you otherwise, that is a very quick way to get into trouble. By definition, you must sell something to be a legal MLM company. Assuming you have found one that you like, treat it as a real business, even if you just wish to do it part time. The first step is to try the products. Not for a day or two, because you are excited about your upcoming millions, but for a couple of months. Get a track record on how the company completes orders. Are all products in stock, or are things being back ordered? Does it take a long time to fulfill your orders or do you get timely deliveries? Do the products turn your skin green, or make you sick to your stomach, or is your skin soft and silky and your stomach is flatter than it was before you started? As you find customers that use and buy your products, regularly, then and only then, should you start discussing the business opportunity that is attached to your company. When you meet with them, you can explain that there is an opportunity to earn more money, later, but establish that they need to do what you are doing and that is building a small residual income by selling your products/services at retail. Now, if you are just starting out in this industry, and hopefully you are, because the biggest new problem with this industry are people called MLM hoppers. These are people that are always changing companies. Newer, bigger, better, more money offered, etc. Are the reasons that people do this, but again, think about this. If you are always changing, the efforts that you put into the first company is wasted. Here you spent time building customers and started a down line, and you built everyone to believe that this company is the next coming. Now, you call everyone to tell them about your new deal and a couple of things happen. You instantly lose credibility. You also, likely start alienating friends and relatives because they think you are a flake. So, if you start something, finish it for a change. Most importantly, the concept is a legitimate one. The legal ones are not Pyramid Schemes or Ponzi Schemes. (See Bernie Madoff) This is concept, that if done properly, can earn you a lot of money, give you time freedom and most of all, protect you in tough economic times. All of that being said, be careful. Do your due diligence. Do not be swayed to spend your way to the top. As in the movie Field of Dreams; “Build it and they will come.” This is how to construct a successful business model and if you work, it will work as well. You will be surprised when you find out about the money to be made with MLM Multi Level Marketing today! Since I’m focus on marketing materials, specifically the Ardyss brochures, in this article, I will only be discussing the products and company briefly.

Ardyss has tons of products, no doubt, though their strongest product line has to be their body reshaping garments. They also carry skin care products and health supplements; however considering the fierce competition in both of these industries I do not think they are as solid as the garment line.

Ardyss has a catalog that is diverse which is certainly helpful, but two of those product lines are in fiercely competitive industries. A unique product is always preferable, but not essential.

The company Ardyss has been operating for over 20 years if you go back to the small business that would eventually become the Ardyss Corporation. They started with their body reshaping garments, which means they have got tons of experience in that field under the belt, a definite “plus.”

With the impact the internet has had on the MLM industry the digital delivery of brochures can be highly effective, not to mention there is no money to be spent on printing hard copies or buying ink.

Testimonials are commonly used because they can be so moving. However, I tend to have a lot of doubt when I read testimonials. I have all too often encountered obviously copied testimonials, so they tend to trigger a skepticism bell every time I see one. This is why sometimes you should just stick to the basics, and that is a great time to use the Ardyss brochures.

Ultimately success in any MLM Business is going to depend on your ability to develop your own effective marketing strategy and materials. The Ardyss brochures are useful, but without understanding the general principles of marketing you will never experience real MLM success, no matter how good the brochures might be. Make certain that you take the time to research these concepts for yourself if you want to try your hand at multilevel marketing.

First of all, the best Ardyss training programs are not going to be specific just to Ardyss. Instead they will focus on general marketing strategies that can be applied not only to Ardyss, but any product. They may have specific examples of how a certain principle was applied to the Ardyss line of products, but their emphasis should be on the marketing principle being applied and not on a specific execution of that principle.

Seriously, the first sign of quality Ardyss training is whether or not you are learning marketing strategies that can be applied to any product. If your training program is not teaching you how to effectively market anything and everything, you should consider finding a new one.

The internet has become an increasingly powerful weapon in the successful multilevel marketer’s arsenal. The old multilevel marketing methods such as compiling name lists, going to hotel meetings, or holding seminars just cannot be as effective as the internet.

Effectively using the internet as a marketing tool is essential for quality Ardyss training, I am not talking about offering your perspective customers materials that help them create a cookie cutter website on their lunch break, with the level of skepticism in today’s consumer market you will have to be able to create a distinctive and unique marketing strategy to succeed.

By effective internet marketing I am of course talking about ways to generate traffic to your website, as well as how to create a website that is appealing to visitors and successfully converts prospects into both sales and network recruits.

While effective internet marketing should be a part of any Ardyss training program you participate in, it should not be the total focus of the course. Instead you should be learning valuable marketing concepts that have been used for years, as well as new methods that take advantage of modern technology.

In conclusion it is not Ardyss International training that is needed for success, it is marketing training. Once you know how to effectively market, you can turn any MLM product into a potential gold mine, and that is real earning power.

In my years of working with MLM businesses I have developed an effective and simple three point system that I use to evaluate any MLM product, Ardys included. That being said let us get into the thick of it, as it were.

The product, the company, and the currently established marketing system are the easiest ways to compare MLM opportunities because they are both universally applicable and relatively straight forward.

So let us begin by taking a look at the Ardys product, or more precisely the Ardys products. Ardys started with their line of body reshaping garments, which is by all means their specialty. The Ardys Body Magic is the most widely known product from this line. These garments reshape the body by essentially conditioning it to constantly “suck in the gut” and “sit up straight.” With time and use these behaviors can actually be taught to your muscles, so it seems reasonable to me that prolonged use could create a lasting change in your body shop, even if it does not actually “dissolve fat.”

These days Ardys offers more than just their reshaping garments. The Ardys product line now also consists of health supplements and skin care products. While a diverse product line opens up a new customer base for their distributors, the level of competition in both the health supplement and the skin care industry cannot be ignored.

Then there is Ardys the company. Depending on which date you want to choose, their incorporation date in the US, or the date which the family owned business that turned into the Ardys Corporation, Ardys has been in the business of making body reshaping garments for basically twenty years. The expertise that they bring to this aspect of their product line is definitely a good thing.

Lastly are the marketing materials that Ardys makes available. They offer both brochures that distributors can reuse, as well as a web based system that streamlines the process of online sales and recruitment, while at the same time ensuring that distributors are given the credit they deserve for their efforts.

While Ardys’ strengths and weaknesses are unique to them, they are like any other MLM product in the respect that real success can only be realized with a solid understanding of marketing principles. Knowing how to market well will give you the power to turn any MLM product, including Ardys into a viable money maker.

To this end I developed a simple three point system I use each and every time I am looking at a new MLM product, whether I am considering participating in it myself, or simply trying to offer a useful review to people considering a given MLM opportunity. That being said let us go ahead and take a look at Ardyss.

The elements I use to evaluate an MLM opportunity like Ardyss are simple, but effective. I look at the product itself, the company behind it, and the preexisting marketing strategy that is already being employed. These three things are important aspects of any MLM program, and they are also universally applicable, which is why I use them.

That being said, how does Ardyss score in the product category? Well, that depends largely on which of their products you are talking about. They are leaders in the body reshaping garment business and that means that their wide line of reshaping garments for men and women is going to be solid quality. On the other hand, the health supplement and skin care product lines have plenty of well established competitors in fierce market that not only has product against product, but distribution channel, direct sales and retail, fighting fiercely for the consumer dollar.

Ardyss the company is relatively strong in my estimation too. Incorporated in Las Vegas back in 1991 they have been around for nearly 20 years. Keeping a company in business that long is not feasible if your products are substandard and customers are not satisfied with them. I have to admit that their entry into those competitive markets, health supplements and skin care products, leaves me scratching my head.

Lastly there is the marketing system. It is always helpful to find a MLM opportunity that has a solid marketing system in place that lends its self to duplication, but those are not all that common. The truth is that success with Ardyss, or any other MLM opportunity ultimately falls on the shoulders of the distributor.

Then of course there are the marketing materials. The web based interface for sending internet sales and prospects to the Ardyss website sure helps distributors with building their network and sales on the internet. While an easily duplicated marketing system is always desired in an MLM business it is not absolutely necessary.

If you want to avoid that frustration and see your MLM Business, whether you are an Ardyss distributor or a member of some other program, you need to take the time to educate yourself on marketing. That is the only way your business will have the success you are hoping for.

I want to start off by saying some of the Ardyss International complaints out there do have some validity to them. However, these complaints are in the minority and tend to be subjective in nature. A customer’s dissatisfaction with a product is based on their personal experience and is by no means shared amongst all the users of a product. While people are obviously entitled to their opinions, these complaints are purely subjective in nature.

Like any MLM business, lots of the Ardyss International complaints accuse Ardyss of using false or misleading advertising. Not only is this accusation lodged against the assorted product lines offered by Ardyss, they are also lodged against the money making potential of their multilevel marketing system.

So are the Ardyss International complaints about the product being falsely advertised true? Well, frankly, I’d be surprised if they were not true at least some of the time. Multilevel marketing systems offer everyday people the chance to own their business. While it is incumbent on companies like Ardyss to attempt to police the actions and claims of their distributors, it is not logistically feasible for them to be keeping tabs on everybody everywhere. This means there are bound to be a small handful of less than scrupulous people willing to make claims about Ardyss products that Ardyss themselves do not make, but that is an issue that crops in multilevel marketing period, not just for Ardyss.

As for the Ardyss International complaints that focus on the business, they tend to split into complaints about some of the widely popularized benefits of an MLM business. MLM businesses are often described as being something that anybody can do. They are also touted as being an opportunity for people to derive an income from their business without needing to work. While both of these statements are true, the MLM business is by no means simple or clean cut.

Then there’s the “anybody can do it” claim. This one is also true; anybody can succeed in an MLM business assuming they have the right tools. Anybody can turn a screw with a screwdriver, too, but attempting to use your fingernail to turn that screw probably will not get you very far.

It is also true that anybody can succeed with a MLM business. Anybody can succeed, if they know the necessary marketing techniques that anybody needs to succeed in MLM. You cannot change a light bulb without a ladder, so how do you expect to succeed in a marketing business if you do not know how to market?

The truth is most of the Ardyss International complaints are like the majority of the complaints lodged against other MLM Businesses. They are usually voiced by people who have tried either Ardyss, or some other MLM business but did not get satisfying results. If you want to know how to succeed with Ardyss or any other MLM product, you have to know how to market first and foremost.
