E-mail marketing is a pretty straight-forward conceptIt’s when you send e-mails to market a product. Seems easy enough, right?

You might be wondering why e-mail marketing is important and how it can increase your bottom line? The more people you send e-mails to promoting your products, the more sales will be generated. This is because your e-mails can be sent to potential new customers in addition to existing customers.

Existing customers are the people who have purchased from you before and you likely stored their e-mail address and added it to your “list”. You can send promotions, discounts, sale information, new product information, etc. hoping that your existing customers will purchase additional products from you.

New customer e-mail addresses are usually acquired through a newsletter sign-up, or a list that can be purchased from another company that specializes in that sort of thing, although SPAM is one of the worste and most annoying tactics used today, so be careful not to anger your customers by sending TOO many e-mails their way. They could potentially block your e-mails. Just so you know, I have a list of about 100 e-mail addresses black-listed, which means that I will NEVER see an e-mail from them again. Hooray!

It is a great idea to add back-links (links back to your web page) in your e-mails so potential customers can easily access your page if they decide they are interested in whatever you’re offering. Putting direct links to your affiliate products is another way of generating more sales that doesn’t require the customer to ever even see your web page!

Besides generating more sales, e-mail marketing is also very cost-effective. The amount of money it would cost you to send promotional content to every person on your “list” by regular mail would be astronomical. If you have around 100 e-mails on your “list”, it can cost you at least $42! Now, if you eventually acquire a longer list, which you definitely WANT to do, it can cost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars! Just remember that sending e-mail is absolutely FREE!

Some other benefits to think about are:

  • Delivery Time: E-mail gets to the customers inbox within seconds whereas regular mail can take days.
  • Tracking: It is very easy to track electronic mail while regular mail would need to be “return receipt requested”, which is both expensive and time consuming.
  • Website Traffic: You can send an e-mail to customers to alert them to sales, promotions, and new products instead of hoping people find your website through a search engine. Whether the recipient actually opens the e-mail is a different story, but there are methods used for tracking that information as well.
  • Eco-friendly: There is no paper required to send an e-mail! Save a tree while you market your products!

A lot of affiliate products offer templates and tips on how to create a large “list” of e-mail addresses. Make sure you do your research and find the product that is right for YOU!

Every person you deal with has the same thing at the center of their universe. Themselves. When it comes right down to it everyone is interested in themselves and what they can get. You need to remember this when talking with prospective leads. They won’t join until you show them how it is in their best interest. If you want powerful network marketing leads you must determine what they want and show them how your buisness delivers.

When you are talking, the prospect will be thinking one thing. “Will this program enlarge my life?” They don’t care about how much money you made. They don’t care how many associates the compay has. They really don’t even care about the product. The thing that is at the forefront of their minds is what’s in it for them.

When talking about your program remeber the prospect has only one question, what value will it bring to my life. I’m sure you wouldn’t purchase shoes unless you saw the value in them. That would not make sense. In the same way your potential member would like to know what value your program has. They only want to know how it will give their life more worth. Hit this idea and hit it hard. Let them know what THEY can expect from the program.

That does not mean you try to make the MLM business something it is not. You must focus on Hope not Hype. When you hype people into joining you can’t build a successful business. This makes sense, when you cover things in sugar you eventually have the sugar melt and then your new member knows what the business is really about. Do you think he or she will be happy? NO. They will more than likely quit and tell everyone they know you are not to be trusted.

Hype doesn’t work for the long term. Instead of this, talk with them about their hope for a better future. share with them the hope of making more money. Show them how to hope for a better lifestyle than the one they have now. People are drawn to Hope but are repelled by Hype. Hyping works on the head but Hoping works on the heart. People are drawn to hope like a magnet. They want to hope and to believe in an increased future for themselves. If you market Hope and not Hype your results will explode.

Your prospective members will recruit themselves if you connect their hope to the possibilites of your buisness. You can successfully recruit someone when you connect the hope in their heart to the outcomes that can come from your Network Marketing business. You can’t make someone become a successful member of your organization. Instead, you must show them how the possibilities of the business can fulfill their hopes and dreams. If this happens they will recruit themselves. You do not need to do any selling. You can get the best MLM leads to convince themselves to join your organization.

Through your entire pitch the prospect is thinking one thing. How will this increase my lifestyle. People are always looking for a way to increase their income. The average person does not want more money to put in the bank. Most people want more money so they can spend it. Find out what an increased lifestyle means to your prospects and then show them how to get it. You will get more business associates than you can handle.
