Since the World Economy tanked in the last twelve months or so, it’s to be presumed that there’s been a correspondingly surge in the number of individuals searching to find self employed jobs. At least, here in the USA, because it’s essentially one of the few options for many people now, as a few years will have to elapse before any upturn changes things
This is the first occurance in my memory that there is such a surplus of professional people seeking employment. People who worked in management and other similar tiers of authority. Plus many more similarly skilled who, on account of unexceptional circumstances, now find themselves having to seek alternative forms of work.
And, whilst it’s an unfortunate situation for the recently unemployed , remember too, we are also very fortunate to live in the age of the internet. If this incredible invention had been in existence in recessions of the past, and in particular during the Great Depression of the 1930′s, l expect the durations of the recessions would have been less, because more self employed jobs would have been created. However, that’s neither here nor there…
l’m not exaggerating by saying that the internet today offers people, irrespective of age, sex, race, qualifications, experience, the most scope to earna a lot of cash in self employed jobs. Since the dawn of ages.
With the assumed ability to be able to read and write, and if you, are of average intelligence, and have a PC and internet connection, you are 50% of the way there already. The other 50% requires you to find an internet business model that works for many, many thousands, of other people, and just duplicate what works for them.
All of that might sound simplistic. And it is very simple, l can guarantee you, but like everything that appears new for the first time, you have to first learn before you can understand.And yes, you will have to learn some stuff, but contrary to public perception, it is not too difficult to grasp. Not if you are motivated and desire to earn some cash online has to offer.
Here are two self employed jobs that you can make a lot of money from. Although being different in many ways, but have similarities, and are very easy to implement.
(1) Make money with Google Adsense. These small contextual ads you see plastered all over the internet are earning Google hundreds of millions, maybe billions of bucks in annual profits. This is because advertisers are willing to pay google anytime somebody clicks on an advert. And also because the advertising is contextual. Meaning, it relates to the subject matter of the page or article that its located on.
Build a very simple content site (or sites) with just an index of articles. These can be on any subject under the sun, as long as it’s a niche that has sufficient popularity and relevant searches. Each page you add to your site contains a unique article based on a particular search term relevant to the subject. As you add more and more pages, each one with a unique article, it will eventually add up to a mega content site. And with adsense ads contextually displayed on each page, the cumulative effect will be quite big. When (and hopefully, it’s often) a person clicks on one of those text ads, you get paid.
After that, it’s just a matter of maximizing the number of visitors to your site. By implementing the correct strategies, your site should increase as time goes on and end up a huge collection of information on any particular subject.
When you know and understand the basics of how this works, it’s just a matter of repeating the process on another niche. And this time your progress will be quicker as you are more experienced.
(2) Affiliate Marketing. A large majority of transactions that take place on a daily basis are via the mechanisms of affiliate marketing. How adsense works, is that, you are just putting yourself between the buyer and seller and making a commission when somebody clicks on an advert, irrespective of whether they buy or not.
With affiliate marketing, you are effectively promoting other folks products or services. This can be just via simple text or display ads on your site, right upto using any number of elaborate marketing methods. However, with affiliate marketing, a certain amount of preselling is often required, as to get paid, it’s essential that some money changes hands for you to make a commission.
Both of these internet ideas are now well established and making millions for many. They are not difficult to implement, requiring just some rudimentary knowledge of internet marketing techniques and the basics of how to put together a website. Stuff thats quite basic really.
Then, by putting aside a few hours a day you can begin to build your online empire, which is what this will eventually evolve into, if you follow the correct strategies.
Self employed jobs of this genre provide you with a feeling of great achievement, but also financial security for your old age.
